Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies


• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

• 1 teaspoon salt

• 1/2 cup baking cocoa

• 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

• 3/4 cup granulated sugar

• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 2 large eggs

• 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) peanut butter chips. (you could also do half chocolate chips & half peanut butter chips)

• 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)


1. Preheat oven to 350° F

2. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy.

3. In another bowl combine the flour, baking soda, cocoa and salt. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually mix into the flour mixture.

4. Stir in chips and nuts.

5. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

6. Bake for 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

7. Enjoy while warm with a cold glass of milk.

8. Makes 2+ dozen cookies.
